Shengyishe monitoring published September 19 put the sulfur ten-day minus twenty-day spread at negative 226.51 yuan per metric tonne, computed as M10 at 7,993.55 yuan minus M20 at 8,220.06 yuan in the open table.

The platform said the spread reversed from narrowing back to widening, signalling continued downside with accelerating pace after the September 18 national benchmark had slipped to 7,685.67 yuan, down 7.95 percent month to date from the September 1 open of 8,349 yuan.
