Alberta and Vancouver export desks entered 29 October with the Chinese domestic sulfur screen breaking a two-day hold at 5,564.25 yuan, as Shengyishe's afternoon rawmex close and Tonghuashun iFind's spot table both marked a fresh three-month low and coastal inventory wires showed another small rebuild.
Shengyishe's 100ppi rawmex page at 16:00 on 29 October put the national sulfur benchmark at 5,551.75 yuan per metric tonne, down 12.5 yuan or 0.22 percent from 5,564.25 yuan on 28 October.
The screen marked 5,551.75 yuan as a new three-month low against a three-month peak of 9,535.67 yuan and a three-month average of 8,043.65 yuan on the open methodology header, extending the October unwind that began when the month opened near 7,685.67 yuan.
A morning 100ppi benchmark wire at 08:30 had still carried 5,564.25 yuan flat versus 27 October; Pacific desks should treat the 16:00 rawmex close as the dated domestic anchor when it diverges from the opening statistics block.
Tonghuashun iFind's 29 October sulfur spot article at 16:55 local time matched 5,551.75 yuan per tonne, down 12.5 yuan on the day, with cumulative moves of minus 162.5 yuan or 2.84 percent over the past week and minus 2,200.58 yuan or 28.39 percent over the past month on the same table.

Monitored coastal elemental sulfur on the 100ppi wire totaled 1.1251 million tonnes as of 28 October, up from 1.1244 million tonnes on 27 October.
The published breakdown listed Fangchenggang at 420 thousand tonnes, Zhanjiang at 350 thousand tonnes, Zhenjiang at 218 thousand tonnes, Dafeng at 82 thousand tonnes, Beihai at 18 thousand tonnes, and Nanjing at 10 thousand tonnes.
The inventory rebuild remains modest in percentage terms but keeps import cover visible on open feeds while phosphate operating rates stay subdued in commentary from the week of 16 October.
Shengyishe's sulfuric acid benchmark held 1,540.00 yuan per metric tonne on 29 October, unchanged on the day and down 9.94 percent versus the 1,710.00 yuan October 1 reference on 100ppi detail-20261029-6411623, so acid margins did not tighten further even as elemental sulfur benchmarks slipped.
Middle East nomination math was unchanged on the open record: Shanghai Metals Market's 8 October flash still lists October 2026 producer contracts at QatarEnergy 835 dollars per tonne FOB, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation 820 dollars FOB, and ADNOC 890 dollars FOB Ruwais, with no verified November QSP, KSP, ADNOC OSP, or Saudi Aramco monthly posting on the desk pass.
ChemPriceHub's mid-October international roundup still frames seaborne competition near 830 to 840 dollars FOB Vancouver and 740 to 790 dollars FOB Middle East ex-Iran for the week of 15 October, the dollar bands Alberta blocks must clear when yuan replacement cost softens.
Open trade press on 29 October noted ICE listing sulfur futures referenced to Argus daily assessments for CFR China granular and FOB Middle East, a hedging tool that does not replace dated open benchmark wires for desk math.
Alberta Energy Regulator ST3 sulphur statistical files on the public index were unchanged at desk time, with the verified_public August 2026 provincial closing inventory still the North American stockpile anchor behind rail and terminal scheduling.
