Searches for Qatar sulphur price, QSP sulphur October, Kuwait KSP sulphur, or ADNOC sulphur price usually point to Middle East producer monthly contracts, not Vancouver or Tampa hubs. Each Gulf exporter sets a formal FOB posting for the calendar month. QatarEnergy publishes Qatar Sulphur Price (QSP) FOB Ras Laffan and Mesaieed. Kuwait Petroleum Corporation sets Kuwait Sulphur Price (KSP) FOB Kuwait. ADNOC sets a monthly sulfur official selling price (OSP) FOB Ruwais. These are contract nomination anchors for term buyers and the starting point for spot negotiations in the Arabian Gulf.

Spot FOB Middle East ex-Iran trades in a band around those postings when logistics are normal. When Hormuz risk or berth queues tighten, spot can disconnect from contract: open summaries on 15 October 2026 put spot FOB Middle East ex-Iran at 740 to 790 dollars per metric tonne (ChemPriceHub and ChemPortal public roundups), well below October contracts at 820 to 890 dollars FOB because few cargoes clear at list. Pacific desks still watch QSP and KSP when sizing CFR India and CFR China import parity. As of 20 October 2026, Shanghai Metals Market's 8 October flash listed October producer contracts at QatarEnergy 835 dollars per tonne FOB (down 45 dollars month on month from September's 880 dollar QSP), KPC 820 dollars FOB (down 45), and ADNOC 890 dollars FOB Ruwais (down 70). ChemNet's 16 October wire carried the same trio. September's QatarEnergy contract was 880 dollars FOB per SunSirs' 8 September international review, down 10 dollars from August's 890 dollar QSP; SunSirs in August had KPC at 865 dollars FOB Kuwait for August, down 85 dollars from July.
